Guy with weird communication

I met this guy at my University, he asked me for my number and we’ve been talking for a good week and a bit. So he asked me out and I proceeded to ask him where we were going. Long story short, he asked me to pick a place and I suggested bowling.

He then asked me if I was living on campus or off and I answered his question. He left me on read for two days, leaving me very confused.

He then texted me on a Friday asking about my day and hasn’t mentioned the date yet.

At this point I don’t know what to think, do I mention the date again or do I just stop pursuing things with him?

Note: he’s a Spanish International student and his English isn’t 100% so i don’t know if that makes a difference?
