Do I go to a friends birthday tomorrow even if she’s cancelled on mine for years?

My fiancé thinks I shouldn’t go because every time I invite her to my birthday she has a reason not to come. I’ve invited her for years and she can never make it. We’re on good terms, and I am free tomorrow to go to her birthday. But part of me thinks maybe he’s right?
What’s the correct thing to do?

Lots of people who suffer from depression and/or anxiety cancel plans and may seem like flakes but they aren’t. If you wanna go, go. If you don’t, don’t. But don’t be petty and go eye for an eye about it.
