Birth Control advice....

Hello I recently had my first baby about 3 weeks ago. I am planning on getting back on birth control as soon as I can. I was on the Depo Provera shot for about a year and a half before I got pregnant and before that I was on the pill. I recently heard the shot is being related to a few medical problems so I'm trying to stay clear from that. I dont want to go back on the pill because knowing my self I tend to forget to take a pill here and there. Any opinions on any other birth control options. Have you gained any extra weight taking it? Any other symptom? Anyone using the implant that has copper or something like that I've heard. Thanks in advance.
