Miscarriage/TTC ovulation with irregular period

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to conceive after miscarrying at 10 weeks in August. I have very irregular/long cycles so find it difficult to track when I would be ovulating. I stopped bleeding on 29th August and then had egg white CM around the 17th Sept, and again a week later. I did a test on 1st October which was negative but not sure if this is too early to tell. Does anyone have any advice?? Waiting for my period to arrive is driving me mad!
