When are you telling family?

I had an ultrasound today I’m 11 weeks 3 days baby looks healthy I’m planning to tell everyone today we’ll just our parents and siblings is it too early ?

We told our immediate family as soon as we had the first scan. Our families have known the struggles we’ve been through with x4 miscarriages, so we’re very open with them. I couldn’t not tell my Mum immediately lol. It’s a personal choice, only you and your parent can decide when you’re ready to share your news 💖

Right after the 12 week scan we’re conveniently 😜 meeting family for a day trip and will tell them then. And the family that can’t be there I got cute cheesy candles that say “the best parents get promoted to grandparents” and “you’re not just a good grandma, you’re a great grandma!” 
I can’t wait to get it all out!!

At 11 weeks + you are basically in the second trimester, it’s a great time to share

We told them at 8 weeks after 1st appointment.

I told immediate family as soon as we got a positive blood test as our last pregnancy was ectopic and was not a lovely phone call to make to notify family at the hospital! We figured we’re comfortable enough to tell them if it’s a miscarriage so told them at 5 weeks!

I told my family right away as soon so got a positive test. We're waiting until Christmas to tell my hubbys parents.

We lost our daughter at 19 weeks gestation in June and had announced on Facebook and to the whole family just to tell them we lost her due to a severe genetic defect. This time around we won’t be announcing until our 20 week scan.
