Pregnant pharmacists/healthcare workers

This post is specifically for retail pharmacists or any other professionals who handle medications.

What do they mean by do not “handle”??? Meaning don’t touch the tablets with your bare hands correct?

If I’m a retail pharmacist, would it be okay to bag up sealed bottles of finasteride? Or open a vial to verify if the drug inside the vial is misoprostol and is correctly filled? Will the powders of this drug affect me if I inhale it?

Other drugs include avodart, chemo drugs, etc.

Any insight specifically from retail pharmacists are sooooo appreciated. Thanks!
