Is this dress appropriate for a baby shower at the end of October?

I don't know if this dress would be ok to wear at the end of October for my baby shower because it looks summary. Should I be looking for smth that's fall appropriate?

I feel like it depends on where you live. This doesn’t look summer-y to me at all. Paired with some ankle boots you could totally wear this no problem. I’m also in Northern California, though, so this is what I see a lot of women wearing with maybe some tights under depending on how cold it is that day.
