Pest control?

My home has had a spider issue since we moved in. Every three months, pest control comes and sprays outside and in our crawl space. The crawl space is below our bedroom. The company reassured me that it’s safe, but I’m still not crazy about it. The also said the exposure is very little as the only indoor location being sprayed is the crawl space under the house. It’s a direct spray, not a gas.

As nervous as pest control makes me, a year ago we found black widow spiders and brown recluse spiders in our home. Both pose a very large risk to the baby. We haven’t seen them since starting our every three month pest control treatments and I don’t want to risk them coming back. (We bought a very old home that had not been treated).

Parenting is such a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t.” 😫
