Labor starting?

I am 36 weeks and 6 days today. Last night and today I have felt some weird movements. When I'm sitting down it feels like my belly is getting tight and pushing my baby downwards. I woke up sore in my pelvis this morning. Is this just Braxton Hicks getting stronger or the very beginning of labor?

I think your having contractions. You should time them and I think if u have more than 6-8 in a hour call the midwife xxx good luck

It may be just the baby dropping. It normally happens about 36 weeks. Braxton hicks with weird pressure down there, it’s uncomfortable.
