PCOS - Help

*Long post, need to vent*

Been of BC since August 2017. Before BC i was ALWAYS regular. On time never missed AF... until I got pregnant with my son. I was on BC since 2010.

After I stopped BC my period where never the same. They were super light like spotting and now they are irregular. In Feb 2018 I was bleeding for 15 days none stop. My OB at the time thought I had PCOS. Well I went in for blood work and ultrasounds to see if I did have PCOS well she said I didn’t. And told me she couldn’t do anything for me anymore. That after a year trying to go see a fertility doctor.

Well I got a new job, so I had to wait 90 for my insurance to kick in. In those 90 days I noticed my feet were getting swollen so I made a doctors appointment. I told her about my periods and how now they are just spotting period and irregular. So she made me do blood work. *Side note - this is a new clinic new insurance new everything.

My test results came in and my thyroid is at a 3.14 and my testosterone free is at 8.7 my testosterone bioavailabile 16.7.

Me appointment with my new OB is not until October 26 but I have a cousin that has PCOS and she told me that my test results match hers exactly.

My question is how can I go from super regular periods to PCOS?
