I really loved the idea of ours and it was really great those first couple of weeks after my csection.
Then noticed it was pitching and leaning to one side, causing my LO to roll and he had almost outgrown it after 4 weeks. 
So just make sure yours doesn't lean.
After that did something like this and it was great! Made breastfeeding so much easier and because we used his crib, took the front off and tied the legs to our bedframe, it made crib training even easier because he was already used to his own mattress and crib.

I had a vaginal delivery, but the Halo is definitely worth it. At least it is for us. We had the Luxe Plus and it has some pretty neat features. Having her sleep in the Halo was almost like having her in bed with us. It made those night nursing sessions very easy and diaper changes as well.

Didn't have one but I really wish I did!!! Getting in and out of bed all night was awful.
