Anyone ever taken 3 birth control pills and stopped?

Last month i tried to take birth control (pills). I took 3 pills then stopped cause i got bad diarrhea and vomiting. I started the pills while on my period it made my period go away in those 3 days. Then about 3 days or so after i got a all new period. I’m late now by 3 days from my original period. Could 3 pills have thrown my cycle out of wack that much?

If you took 3 then stopped your body may be confused about its hormones. Wait a week and if you don’t start then test. If you’re going to try bc it’s best to stick to or try to stick it out because your body has to adjust.

Well you changed hormones in your body by taking the pills. Also you were probably experiencing those symptoms because you were on your period. Try to take the pills again while you're not on your period. If you have the same results, talk to your doctor about it. See if they can prescribe a different one.
