Wisdom teeth advice?

What should I expect after I get them out? I will be being put out and getting all 4 out. What foods are good to eat? How long will swelling be there? How painful? Etc

Just have a lot of soft food available after and make sure you have a bucket or basin to catch all your bloody mouth juice😭and I’m letting you know from now you’ll need a lot of water and juice to get through😭

Everyone I know had an easy recovery and were good after week but I had a horrible experience getting my wisdom teeth out cause I ended up with dry sockets. Dry sockets are very rare so there's really no need to worry but just some advice is if the pain only seems to be getting worse after a few days and it looks like dry sockets call up your doctor cause it was the worst pain of my life and I waited a whole week to call but whatever treatment they gave me made the pain go away immediately.

i was asleep for two weeks. i had to go to a surgeon and i honestly dont remember afterwards, the car ride home, literally anything for the first week except eating applesauce.

I went under anesthesia and had all four of mine removed by an oral surgeon. I had swollen cheeks but I don’t remember how much pain I experienced so it must not have been too much. I just took my pain medication, used ice or heat (or maybe both, I can’t remember exactly what they had me doing, and pretty much only ate ice cream.

I had all four of mine out but I had to go to a oral surgeon because they were still imbedded in my gums. I was put to sleep and didn’t feel anything, but my cheeks where swollen for days and they sent me home with Vicodin ( this was years ago).  And I could only eat soft stuff, like mash potatoes or Mac n cheese.
