Intro and concern

Hello everyone! So I am pregnant with my 6th and planning my 4th homebirth! But first things first! I am in my first trimester and it has been an emotional one! I hoped to have an unassisted pregnancy, doing all my own prenatal care, but then this pregnancy hasn’t been easy going! I had a late BFP! Heavy bleeding and cramping for 5 days! At 5 wks my hcg was 64.4 nothing visible in u/s! At 5 wks 2 days it doubled to 133.6! I am supposed to go back Wednesday for an ultrasound to confirm this isn’t an ectopic pregnancy! I know it is important to confirm the placement especially with my bleeding and odd levels, but I am so scared of the U/S causing an early loss! I know that generally U/S are considered safe but I also know they have risks and fetal demise is one! Anyone else been through something like this!!?
