D&C cause preterm birth for future babies?

I read that online, but i know everything on thd internet isnt true. I think im going to have to have this procedure done bc i am miscarring but not heavily and no clots or tissues
questions for people whove been through this? Does it hurt?
What are the risks?
is there a better option if the pill isnt working?

I think that's if you have had alot of them. I'm not 100% sure. You can alwasy ask your dr and the can give you the best answer.

I had a blighted ovum and was given a d&c due to not miscarrying naturally. Was never even aware of a pill back then. They put you under for it so don't feel anything. Afterwards it was like 10-14 days of period like bleeding and cramps. I went on to have 2 healthy pregnancies after both born 39w3d and currently 33w5d with a third baby.

I have had two D&C done.  One at 8 weeks and 1 at 12 weeks (turned out to be a partial molar). I am now 14w2d with our rainbow baby.  Not once did anyone mention I would be at risk for preterm because of it.  However, my first child was a spontaneous preterm labor at 36+2 so that actually increases my risk.

I had a D&C because the baby stopped at 8 weeks there was no side effects for me I went under had it recovered and went on with my everyday life I also trusted the RE who performed the procedure
