So I wanted to purchase the freemie liberty from a person that lives near me. She said she only used it for 3 weeks but stopped because she wasn’t producing enough milk. 
I don’t know if it’s sanitary enough to use someone else’s pump and pump parts.
She’s selling this for $140 and they sell brand new for $299.

I’m not sure if I should just purchase the freemie collection cups brand new which are $80 and compatible with my spectra s2 pump

Most breast pumps are only approved for a single user. I personally wouldn’t buy a used one

buy the pump nd purchase your own cups nd hose, all personal equipment should me new the machine is fine.

I got a pump from a close friend, it’s a different brand but i’m just buying new parts for it

If it's a closed system pump it's ok, but otherwise no.

Depend on how well you know the person I guess I share with my sister. I think the pump should be fine just buy your own flanges and tubbing. I felt more comfortable with the medela ones than my freemie. (And medela is much cheaper bought the knock off replacement parts on amazon for $12) 
 Also check through your insurance I got both cuz you never know which works best for you. (Freemie & medela)

Buy the pump and just buy the new hoses and watever else would be touching their skin I bought one on offer up but everything was still in sealed plastic wasn’t ever even used

It's a closed system pump you will be fine! Just boil the removable parts and your good to go
