Flying with newborn

I can’t seem to find a definitive answer so I’m asking here in hopes someone knows or can share their experiences...so I have an upcoming flight in 8 days and I believe in supposed to show identification for my baby? He’s 3 months old and I have not yet ordered his birth certificate (unfortunately my county doesn’t give it at the hospital, it has to be purchased/ordered)

Will I be able to fly with him if I don’t have his birth certificate?
