Should i go in ?

Im 40+3 weeks , been having back pain ALL DAY . followed by contractions but i feel it all in my back instead of my stomach . Keep getting sharp pains all day in my back . Also in my hips . The contractions come every 3 minutes and last about 1-2 minutes each time . But like i said i do not feel them in my stomach i feel all the pain in my back so im not sure if this even means anything ..

I had that for 13 hours yesterday and they sent me home

When I was in labour three years ago, my back also hurt. My stomach too, but my back hurt more. It can happen. If they are that close and take that long you should go in.
I see a lot of these questions here, can’t you people call l&d to consult? I always do, they tell me not to hesitate to call, I call, tell my symptoms and they tell me if I need to come in. And that’s with a choice of hospitals both at a 15min drive from home.
