When can I safely dye my hair in pregnancy?

Hi ladies,
I’m 7 weeks pregnant and heard it’s best to hold off until second trimester to get your hair done. I always get a full head of highlights and the root situation is real right now 😂.
I’m more than okay to wait for the safety of my baby but just wondering if it is safe for me to get it done in second trimester?

You can anytime just he in a ventilated area.

I think I got mine done at 10 or 11 weeks. As long as the place is well ventilated I wouldnt think it matters.

I’m in my first trimester an also get my roots done, but I’m waiting till 12 weeks, just in case, I am wearing a lot of hats! X

I’ve been told blonde or lighter highlights are fine but dark colours are a no no...but that was just my hairdresser and midwife.
