How do you know?

I just had my second baby 7 weeks ago. We have a boy and a girl now and I thought we were done. I just can’t get over this being my last first baby smile or words etc. I’m not sure if that’s justification for having another. I know we’ll know for sure in a few years. I am really excited looking forward to being able to really go do stuff with the two I have as well. I feel like both ways has positives and negatives. We could afford a third. Anyone else in the same boat? What are your thoughts? I guess I know I want another but I can’t logically justify it and at the same time I’d really love to just focus on my two now 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m in the same boat. We had a girl and we are due with a boy in December. My husband says he’s done even though he originally said he wanted three because we now have a girl and boy.
My qualms are that our first two will be only 18 months apart and my body needs a break so obviously it will be a good couple of years before we’d even start trying for a third, and by that point I’m worried to reset our lives again, having two toddlers and being pregnant or have a newborn, and that the last child will feel left out because of the age gap.
On the other hand, I have always wanted three and worry I am going to regret it down the line of we don’t have one more because I just love my babies so much.
So I guess it will be a few years with us to decide, but I think in all honesty it will come down to if I think I can handle it lol.
