Newborn fights sleeping

Anyone else’s baby literally fight you when falling asleep? My 7week old will throw her hands up hitting herself in the head and me. When I try to hold her hands or arms down (super gentle not like forcing them) she just keeps throwing them about. We have a swaddle sleep sack but if I secure the swaddle part before she’s sleeping she gets pissed off and screams. The kicking and throwing her hands around is why we’re swaddling her at night otherwise she won’t sleep as long/soundly. Curious if anyone else is going through this, tips or recommendations
