Ok this may be a cheat but it works. I go to Wal-Mart and buy the just add water mix. Taste just like my moms but way easier.

2 to 2 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt and baking powder
1/3 cup of lard
1/3 to 1/2 cup of lukewarm water 
 if it’s hot water  it will be very sticky. Don’t pour all the water in. Do it in small amounts to get to a desired texture. You want to be able to pull apart the dough with some elasticity if it makes sense. Sometimes I’ll use 1/3 cup of water sometimes I’ll use a lil more it varies sometimes tbh. 
Kneed it thoroughly for 5 min. I like to let it sit out for at least 30 min with a towel covering the bowl. It makes them fluffy. Roll it and put it on your comal and there you go.
