Cat Intruder
So my new husband and I are back for our honeymoon sleeping in a guest room in my mother-in-laws house as we finish our renovations before we can move into our new home.
And this morning my alarm goes off at 6:50am for work, I grab it off the floor, turn it off and place it under my pillow. I felt horrible. Nose all stuffy and runny at the same time. My throat all sore. A big headache. So I close my eyes and plan to sleep another 20-30 minutes until my alarms goes off again.
I start to feel this vibration and I reach for my phone thinking it’s going off again and I open my eyes.
And there’s a freaking cat on my pillow. WE DONT HAVE A CAT. The stupid thing is purring right on my head. Just for additional irony. I’m allergic to cats.
I scream “OMG ITS A F-in CAT”
My husband so sweet, thinks I’m having a nightmare and is trying to soothe me. And I’m on top of him now saying “NO, there’s a cat on my pillow!!!”
He screams and we jump up out of bed and the cat takes off!
Awhile ago my mother-in-law found the sweetest abandoned cat near her house, she decided to keep it. It lives outside because it loves to hunt and sun bathe and because she makes my throat itchy. She’s truly a sweetheart, but way too smart for her own good.
Gina the cat has figure out how to go through the doggie door in the back and has been coming inside lately because of the rather.
We were looking for like 30 minutes, couldn’t find the cat. I starting shaking so dog treats I had and boom I turn around and she’s sitting on the steps, waiting, looking at me. We put her back outside. My mother-in-law has found a house for her that can have cats inside, but man that was a terrifying way to wake up. Lol.
