Just being completely honest with my opinion, I've never understood the hype with this name. I know a lot of dogs named Oakland / Oakley. It might be cute for a great years but I can't imagine a 30 yo professional with the name

It does make me think of a girl at first but I like it for a boy as well. it's not really any different than someone naming their daughter Ryan or Logan or Emerson, I think of a boy when I hear the name but there are little girls in my daughters school with these names. And I think it's cute! ❤
