Water

ICK!!!! I literally can’t stomach it! 🤢

I’m now 8 weeks and just the thought of even putting my lips to a water bottle makes me feel queasy. My mouth constantly feels/is dry and tastes like metal, and water just does nothing for me besides makes me nauseous. I’ve never been a water drinker, but now it’s just torturous for me.

I know I’m not the only one, after searching for posts on water drinking tips. Unfortunately, I keep reading different things as far as sparkling water goes, so I’m not sure if it’s allowed during pregnancy, or just frowned upon since water is the obviously healthier choice.

Once I got the go ahead from my doctor that I can drink ginger ale to curb the nausea, I find myself grabbing it a lot more than I should (and there’s SO MUCH SUGAR!), so I really need to figure this water thing out.

Hoping to hear responses on sparkling water, and even tips on how to make water tolerable. But until then, tonight I will be attempting lemon and berries with lots of ice... wish me luck!
