So my little Zoe burned her hand badly this weekend. It was the worst experience I’ve had in my life, and my heart broke with each cry. She’s so tough, but was up till 3am crying in pain (and exhaustion) Saturday night. She put her hand on the glass of my mom and dads fireplace, and burned about 70% of her hand. It ranges from 1st degree to deep partial second degree burns. We went to the doc, and they are sending us to a burn clinic tomorrow to do a debriedment. I’m freaking out, because they told me to expect a decent amount of pain, especially after the procedure is over. Wish us luck for a quick and full recovery.
