Kidney/side pain?

Question

Last night I woke up with an ache on both sides of my lower back, it feels like where my kidneys are. Today it's still a dull ache. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm going to my doctors tomorrow for a flu shot so I'm going to tell them so they can rule out a UTI, but just wondering if anyone else has felt this way. Its not unbearable but it's very uncomfortable and hurts to put pressure there.

I’m 5+1 and had the same thing. I think it’s our uterus expanding and putting pressure on kidneys..? It didn’t make me worry. I’m feeling so many wierd things for the moment 😉

Me too, I get kidney stones so was worried. I aimed it up to my body changing, gas and maybe dehydration a bit. I put my heating pad on it and took the pain away!

I have this. Thought it was dehydration but the hospital just told me to take paracetamol
