Scared for induction

I’m 39 weeks today and my blood pressure has been high for me and I kept pointing it out and no one listened because it’s not abnormal for the average person. Anyway my urine was showing protein and feet were swelling which I diagnosed as pre eclampsia.

My blood pressure was 144/100 today with my normal being 110-100/68-75

My doctor sent me to the hospital for bloodwork.

They told me I was anemic, low iron, hemoglobin low etc and after 6 hours of waiting for a plan or answer they told me they want to induce and that I should expect a call possibly tmr.

I’m 23 ftm and scared of induction because of horror stories I heard. I need advice. Also worried about the anemic thing. Would I need blood?
