Antibiotics and Birth Control

Has anyone had thier birth control fail due to antibiotic use?

I've neglected my logs because the Nuva ring basically zaps my period down to 3 days and I've been lazy. The app is saying my period is due today.

But it's usually a day or two off and I haven't replaced the nuva ring yet.

I forgot that antibiotics interfere with BC. And I took a 10 day round of amoxicillin for an ear infection over the last two weeks.

I had sex with my husband twice this week. And I nirmally ovulate RIGHT before my period (weird I know) so the app isn't giving me an ovulation day and I didnt trck mucus all month. So now I'm just like.....waiting.

The timing isn't ideal, we have a move in march. But I kinda hope I get a positive in two weeks.

I'm wondering if I should discontinue the Nuva ring until then or not.
