Am I the only one who is saving themselves for marriage?

I have a relationship with christ so saving myself feels really right for me. I feel like society has really pressured men and woman into the need to rush into having sex and that being a virgin is “embarrassing”. I think saving yourself for your spouse is a very respectful choice. What do you think?

I think doing what you want with your own body is a respectful choice too. No one deserves to be praised or shamed for their own personal decision about their body.

I didn’t save myself for marriage because I’m not religious/don’t see the actual act of sex as sacred in that way. But I would never be judgemental of someone who made that choice for themselves. It’s your choice what you want to do and I respect you for that!

My husband and I are both Christians and both waited until our wedding night. I was 23, he was 31. Worth it!

I didn’t wait till marriage but I’m also not religious. I would never judge someone for their choices when it comes to sexual relationships. You do you and do what feels right for you! Don’t worry about other people.

So I was the same way, and I gave in.. luckily I am now engaged to the person I lost my virginity to. I believe if you do wait you can really throw out the man that just want you for sex. Because most guys are only into that now days. It’s also more special if you wait I feel like.
