Ladies who have had a baby already.. did the father cry? (First baby)

Question

Saw someone’s post about wanting to see her husband’s reaction at the birth, people responded with stories of their men crying. I was just curious how many men cried.. even ones you wouldn’t think would cry.

He didn’t cry that I know of (I was heavily medicated for a C-section and ended up being fully put under) but he said that seeing everything that I went through confirmed to him that I was the one for him lol.

Neither of us cried for either birth

Nope! No tears at all from either of us at the time of my twins birth. Hubby was too enamored with my whole c-section process so all I got was “Babe! It’s just like field dressing a deer!” (Can’t take the country out of the boy, LOL) 🤦🏻‍♀️ Then I sent him to the NICU with the twins so my OBGYN could finish closing me up. Now after the excitement of the day wore off and reality set in that we had 2 very medically fragile children that could possibly pass away that’s when we both cried. 52 days and 89 days later they both came home. They are now happy, healthy 11 year old!

Yup and it was literally the first and only time I’ve ever seen my husband cry. It wasn’t full on crying but he feared up. The only other time I’ve seen him come close was the first time we heard his heart beat on the ultrasound. We’ve been together 8 years by the way.

My husband cried like a baby while I laid their exhausted and hungry not crying lol.

He teared up when he told me we had a son. During delivery, which was a high risk c-section that I was put under for, he was just focused on both our son and I surviving. The emotions of being a father hit a little later when we were all safe.

He only cried a few tears when i found out we were having a boy. No tears at the delivery, but neither did I.

Neither of us cried, I was tired as Hell and he had just got woken up! He barely took pictures which made me mad 😒, it was actually a terrible labor experience that he put me through that I won’t let him live down, but I told him he can redeem himself with the next one when we’re pregnant again!

My husband didn’t cry but he said it was so amazing when she came out and looked him right in the eyes! I, on the other hand, sobbed like a baby!
