Problem with in-laws. Anybody else have them?

I’ve been with my husband for 2 years total and we have been married for 4 months now. I wouldn’t say my husband is super close with his family like I am with mine, but he does talk to them a couple times a week. His mom is super sweet and we get along, but his brothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins on the other hand is a different store. My husband has a brother who is getting married next year to a girl from a different state soo she isn’t around the family as much but all his family like aunts uncles cousins are more excited for them than they were for y husband and I.  His family will also talk to his brothers fiancé more than do to me at family events. They will comment on her social media and not mine. It’s like they completely ignore me and make everything about her. 
Does anybody else know what I’m saying? Or been through anything similar?

I'd quit worrying about it. At least you get along with his mom, that's more important in my opinion. My MIL never even acknowledged our wedding, or me on our wedding day. She posted a picture with just my husband and sibling in laws. No one knew it was our wedding, or that I was involved. It was a shocker when she posted a picture a year later of our son and I insisted on tagging myself and saying how cute of a son I had. 😂 She did however comment on my BILs ex girlfriend page about what a beautiful bride she was...same ex that cheated on BIL and married the guy she cheated with. I deleted her from social media and quit caring what she says/does.

Id encourage you not to obsess about it. Reach out to them if you want more of a relationship. It's okay for people to like or have more in common with someone, don't let it offend you.

You know I have some family on social media, some close to me, and some really distant, like far away, where they hardly see each other and they all act like best friends. There is something about having an “online” relationship with someone compared to knowing them in person. Online you can kind of be more open towards and then on the rare occasions you see each other you feel so close bc you’ve been communicating so much online.
I get what you are saying but I wouldn’t stress over it. I really do just feel like most of their communication is through the Internet, so they have some weird closeness vibe going on bc they’ve been open with each other online

I totally get it. This is my life. My husband’s brother’s wife is worshipped even though she is super disrespectful to my husband’s parents both to their faces and behind their backs yet they give them money constantly and kiss her ass. It is sickening. I’ve always been personable with my in-laws, and my FIL is great but MIL has never liked me. The only reason I can think of is bc I’m not from the same town as the rest of them. She talks badly about anyone that moves here from out of town. Just gotta learn to let that shit go. It’s their problem, not yours. As long as you know you’re being yourself and being friendly with them, no sense in letting it stress you out. I’m going on 6 years of this shit and I just don’t care anymore.
