Cold and flu remedy question
Hello, FTM here and I have a question for everyone.
So cold and flu 😷 🤒 🤧 season is around the corner. This may sound dumb, please no judgement, I am SO new to this. Now, I have an almost 3 month old. IF he gets a cold this season, am I allowed to give him children’s Tylenol or any other cold remedy? I sat at my local Family Fare and read all the children’s cold and flu remedy boxes and they were for children 2 or over.
Now, I work with infants (2-8 months) at a day care center and have heard parents give their sick Little ones children’s Tylenol before. But the read their label and it says I should not give to a child younger than 4.
So, my questions are, can I disregard what the box says and give baby Tylenol? If so, what dosage? If not, Is there a Tylenol or any other remedy specifically for children younger than 12 months?
I guess I could ask his pediatrician, but they aren’t open on the weekends, and this is quicker. I could also google, but I rather hear from you lovely ladies 😘
Thank you in advance ❤️
