Herpes

I just found out that I have Type 1 herpes (HSV1) my boyfriend cheated on me with three different girls in the last 4 months. I broke up with him and Im feeling really disgusting and upset and just wanted to know if others on here have HSV1 and how they live with it. can you kiss your partner, give them oral etc without passing it on or has the virus completely changed the way you are intimate with someone ?
