I just started dating this guy but my friend is telling me how much of a player he is saying he played with her feelings. But I don’t believe it. She says that he was all over her a few weeks ago but me and him started talking a week ago and really liked each other so now we’re a thing. I’m so confused please help me.

If you believe your friend then yes he could be considered a player.
If your friend is jealous of you and could be lying then no he isn’t a player.
But if your friend is jealous of you, doesn’t that illustrate he is a player, as she would only be jealous if they had a thing? 
Then again, it doesn’t necessarily make him a player if he did have a thing with your friend a few weeks ago and it didn’t work. If it didn’t work then that’s what happens sometimes and it shouldn’t jeopardise your happiness. 
If you want the truth, ask this dude if he did have a thing with your friend.

The same exact thing happened to me but my bf and I are still together and he only had eyes for me🤗— and getting to know him better I find out that I can never see him as a player or anything
