How many times have you been diagnosed?

I’m pregnant with my fourth child. 
My first I didn’t have GD, but I did with my last two. I’m 35, and I’m nervous about being pregnant again since I know I’ll have it again. 
I do eat a lot better than I did before, but I don’t think that matters. Did anyone have GD, and not have it with another? Or once you have it, you will always have it? And now my risk of having type 2 diabetes REALLY increases. I’m so nervous.

I had it with my first but not my second. Unfortunately, I have it now with our third😩

I had it with my 3rd and then got again with this pregnancy. I have read that if you wait at least 2 years the chances of you geting it do go down. I got pregnant when my 3rd was about 14 months, so I did mot wait a whole 2 years and I did lose some weigh. but being overweight and your eating habits having nothing to do with geting it. This time I got diagnosed at 15 weeks and i took an A1C1 test when I was 8 weeks and i passed it(it was to make sure I did not have type 2,which i new i did not).
