Spotting First Trimester?

Question

Has anyone had spotting on and off first trimester and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?
The doctor said it’s possible I have a friable cervix. From what I read hormonal imbalance can cause a friable cervix, which goes in hand with PCOS? 
Any experiences are greatly appreciated 😊

With my first pregnancy I spotted off and on through most of it and I have a healthy 6 year old. With my second pregnancy my OB was a fertility specialist and they started me on progesterone right away and I stayed on it through the first trimester and never had any spotting and she’s now 2.

My first pregnancy I had spotting. Went to urgent care many times out of fear. Was told to not do anything... ...no working out... ...no sex.... etc. Nothing strenuous. I have an amazing 2 year old now
