Twins??!!!

So we recently found out we're expecting our rainbow. We both have children from previous relationships. I have never really had symptoms before, I've never had morning sickness or cramps or sore breasts in pregnancy but with this one I'm nauseous all the time, It feels like a muscle pulls in my tummy everytime I stand up, I have cramps and my boobs are so sore! My husband's only children from his ex we're twins! They ran in every 3rd generation on the mum's side and every 4th generation on my husbands side. I also had an extremely strong positive at 9dpo. I'm fairly sure ovulation date was correct as I've been trying to conceive long enough to know all the signs although that particular month I didn't use opks so it's possible I ovulated earlier. My question is would this indicate twins? Don't get me wrong it will be a blessing but my god the thought terrifies me. I don't know how twin mum's do it I have serious respect for them.

Is there anyway to know of you're carrying twins without a scan? I'm 6+3 And not due to see the midwife for another 2 weeks
