Take home outfits for baby boy?

I keep looking I want something really cozy and warm for my son cuz I'm due December 26 and so I'm thinking north face infant jacket with cute little sweat pants plus cozy hat but would love to see other women's ideas. I have the bundle me in my car seat so he'll be warm in the car and etc

If you've got extra warmth and padding in the car seat, then I'd say (depending on how cold it is where you live), to just dress him in long sleeves, pants and socks and a warm hat, then use a thinner blanket to tuck around him, and a heavier blanket to drape over the car seat while going outside from birthplace to car, then car to home. Then when you get in the car, you can pull off the heavy outer blanket, and pull off the under blanket if he's too warm from the heater inside the car. That way, he's dressed in easy to remove layers without you having to unbuckle and re-buckle the car seat to take off coats and jackets and extra pants etc. And you won't have to repeat that process when you get home to take him inside- you can just re tuck the thin blanket and the outer blanket in and over the car seat and carry the seat inside. 😀

Just remember it is always best to buckle baby in without a jacket on them. I am bringing my son home in a pair of pants with sicks and a long sleeve shirt so it won't bother where his cord was cut. This is his coming home outfit
