Is this normal?

Okay, I don’t know if I need to post this here or some where else but my baby is 12 days old and she ends up drinking almost 4oz of formula/breast milk very feed and is sleeping about 4 hours in between feeds. Just to be clear we start her off with 2oz in her bottle and make her wait at least 20-30 minutes before we let her eat more to make sure we aren’t over feeding. She just keeps crying for more and more, is this a sign of a growth spurt??

Why are you with holding formula from her?. Let her eat as and when she needs to and the amount she wants also. She will not over eat nor under eat, babies tell you exactly what they need & want. Your Baby is crying because she’s still hungry. Growth spurt? ready for more? hungry? regardless feed your Baby what they need.

I learned this the hard way and I hated the doctors for it. Making me withhold feeding because of “over feeding” when there is no such thing. Babies will eat until they are full. My son starting sleeping so much better once I let him eat until hes full and through the night

Is this normal?
