Ovulation test

So I have been tracking my ovulation via clear blue digital.  The first month I tried it I got the open circle (low) and then a couple later got the solid smiley face (peak). The second time I used it I got open circle a couple of time then a flashing smiley face (high) for 7 DAYS NOW!!! I don't know what to do! Is it the test, is it me?  Any thoughts?
