Anyone else just feeling huge?
Okay, please bare with me.. I was already a larger woman when I got pregnant. Before we found out we were pregnant I had last about 30 pounds and was finally feeling good about myself. Clearly, when we found out I was pregnant I needed to focus on better habits (not drinking protein shakes two meals a day) for baby to get everything he/she needed. Now here I am, 17 weeks pregnant (come Friday) and I just feel huge and gross. When I look in the mirror or see the cute baby bellies that some people post I am honestly just embarrassed.
Everyone’s been asking me so post “belly” pictures and I literally can’t get myself to do it.. am I wrong here? Is there any advice other than “embrace your body, your building a baby”. And please don’t get me wrong, I am proud my body can do it, it’s just extremely hard because I am a teacher and kids asking me “are you sure your not just getting fat?” Is a daily question and I’m truly struggling!
