Ttc with irregular period and endo
Hi ladies! I’ve had my period for almost ten years now and they’ve always been super regular. I had a lap done for endometriosis in Jan 2017 and my periods were still regular up until Aug 2017. I was also on birth control from the start of my periods until that point. I took myself off of my pill in October 2017, and my periods started going back to strictly 7 days vs bleeding for almost the whole month. Around Jan/Feb 2018 my periods got all messed up again, and my doctor put me on a different birth control pill. It never helped or changed my period and ultimately my partner and I decided to stop using protection in May. Now, we’ve been ttc for almost three months and I feel stuck. My doctor will not give us any kind of medication to ovulate as I’m only 22, but I am still bleeding 3/4 weeks of the month! She doesn’t believe I am ovulating but thinks I will somehow manage to get pregnant over the holidays since it’s “stress free” and “a fun time”🙄 She prescribed 5 days of provera to jump start my period and get me back to a regular cycle. Well provera did not work. I’ve been off the pill for 5 days and it’s just given me the same brown spotting I’ve had in between periods so that I am constantly bleeding. I really don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve started exercising regularly, I eat mostly healthy and am not overweight. What can I do?? Has anyone been in a similar position?
