In hospital but not for baby 😩

I've dealt with kidney stones for years now but nothing like this before. My doctor sent me for a renal ultrasound yesterday due to some  kidney stone symptoms I had been having for a couple weeks (frequent urination and flank pain). The results came back showing a blockage in my left kidney that is not letting anything drain. They immediately admitted me to labor and delivery but not for the reasons I had been preparing for. I go for surgery sometime today to scope my kidneys, clear the blockage and place a stent. I'm 39 weeks today and they said baby boy should be fine and they are not going to induce labor. I think I am more worried about the spinal block for the surgery because they want me awake. Have any of the c-section mommas out there had a spinal before?
