WOW how can you be 16 weeks pregnant and not know?

So just found out I am indeed 16 weeks pregnant. I have been having these really weird one sided cramps and some weird lump that moves when I touch it. I told my boyfriend like all week I have been nauseous and just completely tired and moody and crying and just everywhere honestly. Well, we decided to go see a doctor, because my stomach cramps were out of hand on the right side only I was convinced it was a cyst. So, I’m like this has to be seen. I went and saw that my cyst was actually a baby with the heart rate of 135 and my heart rate is definitely usually around, 88. So yes, just found out I’m 16 weeks pregnant. How could I have not known? I had small, light, inconsistent periods. I hadn’t thrown up. Wasn’t extremely tired. Have been eating a lot but I felt it was the usual. So I see how I could have missed it but a whole baby. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m honestly shooketh.

Look on the bright side - you're way past the dangerous times and now can just enjoy getting used to the thought of becoming a mom! Those first weeks can be nerve-wracking, I felt like time was crawling from the moment I find out till 12 weeks!

With my first I didn't know until about 14 weeks and with my second I didn't know until about 19 weeks... Talk about going in for a confirmation scan and them being able to the gender instead. 😂😂

I wouldn't have known I was pregnant until way late if I hadn't taken a test purely so I could throw it out without feeling like it was wasted! I have had next to no symptoms, and if I didnt know I was pregnant, it would just seem to me like I was getting a little sick. I was on birth control and a couple other medications, and my husband and I had decided 2 months prior to just give up on TTC for another 5+ years. When I was unpacking in our new house, I saw an unused pregnancy test, and I was so hurt and upset that I was just going to throw it straight in the trash. But I come from a family where we had no money, so I felt like I couldn't just waste an unused test. If it wasnt for my upbringing affecting my decisions so hard, I would still be on birth control and those awful medications, and I wouldn't have a clue. Dont beat yourself up over it. It happens way often. Just think of it this way: At least you found out before going into labor! I've heard so many stories of women going to the hospital for extreme pain, and then finding out they were nearly 40 weeks pregnant and giving birth!

Lol that’s totally ok ! I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I’ve just started feeling pregnant I have pcos so I’m always nauseous and do get migraines lol same as with the pregnancy nothing different at all I totally understand if we weren’t trying and I wasn’t testing I would’ve never known lol plus I’ve had days I forget I’m pregnant because I just feel completely normal but with my son it was the opposite lol sick from day one lol

Omg!! Well at least you can find out the gender immediately 😂 you could even find out now if you wanted to. It would’ve been impossible for me to not know because my belly was turning into a blimp and I was puking my brains out everyday which has never happened to me before lol

I worked with a girl who found out she was pregnant at 16 wks. Still to this day I’ve wondered how could she not have known?? This gives me a better understanding, lol thank you.
