To early?

Is 28 weeks to early for a baby shower? I am having a winter baby and we get lots of snow here plus I have family/friends who need to travel 8-14 hours to get to me. I either need to have it early or late after baby is born. What is better around 28 weeks or when baby is around 3 months old!?

My family threw my shower when I was just 15 weeks! We didn't know the gender, but we were still totally celebrating the life inside!! Loved every minute of it :)

I had mine at 28 weeks! I really don't think there is such thing as too early or too late for a baby shower. It should just be planned when everyone can make it.

I'm due end of December and having mine mid October (29-30 weeks) due to weather, holidays, comfort, etc.

I'm due in February and having my baby shower in November! We wanted to avoid the horrible weather and the holidays, so we're getting it done early!

I had mine at about 27/28 weeks, it was perfect cause I was still able to move around well, not uncomfortable or anything. I'm from MN so I think it's a great idea to get the baby shower out of the way before winter hits.

Nope. I'm due Nov.6 and I just had my baby shower last Sunday. I had mines early just because both(my husband & I) parents/family live in Florida & we're living in Hawaii. We decided to fly early on.

I'm due January 4th.  I an having my baby shower September 20th because in Indiana when it decides to snow you very well could be snowed in for weeks. Where it's illegal to be on the road.  Lol plus it makes it easier for us because we're just having it at my mom's house and everyone won't be stuck in the house the entire time because it's cold outside.

I'm due January 15th and we've booked the shower for November 1st. It's before all of the holidays, hopefully before the snow and bad weather, and before I am too big to function lol.

I hear a lot of people doing them early because it's what works. I read as early as 22 weeks.
