So frustrated!!! Anyone else had something like this happen ?

Went to the doctor Wednesday and was told I was dilated to 3 and 50%effaced. I thought I was going into labor today and leaking fluid so went to the hospital and the midwife told me I was only dilated to 1 and 60% effaced and told me I wasn’t in labor when I could see contractions on the monitor . so I was sent home but how did I go from a 3 to a 1 ?!?!
