Endometriosis :( any one had any success stories?

My husband and I have been TTC for 12 months now & I have suffered over the past year with a persistent cyst. Yesterday I finally got some answers and was told I had "endometriosis" and because of this I was told I am infertile, at least until the cyst goes. I'm feeling deflated. I'm going to speak to my doctor on Monday to hopefully get some more help with TTC but until then I was just wondering if anyone suffers/suffered from endometriosis and if anyone has had any success stories or advice?
