Progesterone question
I had 2 miscarriages back to back one last December one this last April. My progesterone is normal- they tested me in July and it was good. But Bc of the miscarriages I asked about taking it and they said they would give me a prescription. They told me to take it three days post ovulation and if I don’t get my period on the day it’s due since progesterone delays it, to take a preg test. If it’s negative stop the progesterone, if it’s positive keep taking it. Well, after the miscarriages my cycle was all screwed up... I used to be very regular at 25 days. With supplements , acupuncture and just taking better care of myself my cycle has gone back to being regular which I was very happy about. But then this progesterone messed it up again. I was due on 10/31 and I finally got it today, 5 days late. (After taking several preg tests that were negative). I’m thinking of not even taking the progesterone anymore. If my progesterone was normal why prescribe it to me. The anxiety of taking a pregnancy test each month I don’t like. I would rather just start taking it as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test. Has anyone had this experience? Also , I ovulate early at 10- 11 days and if I had gotten my period on 10/31 as I was supposed to I would prob get a positive opk on 11/9 , now does this mean since I started it today I will ovulate later?? This process has been hard enough but this has just given me more anxiety. ☹️😪
