Freezer Meals

I'm a middle school/ high school teacher so I get a decent break for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. My husband is the Director of IT at a company that is close to home, so he also gets a decent break for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've read a lot about making freezer meals before the baby comes, and if we're being honest if I don't make things in advance my husband and I will end up eating take out everyday after the baby comes. lol. My question is, when is an appropriate time to start making some freezer meals? Baby has a tentative due date of April 19, but he or she is measuring ahead of schedule. I want to be prepared, but at the same time I don't want to make a bunch of stuff and have it go to waste.
